It’s a week until Valentines day and the one time of the year where love is all around us! I’ve spruced up my photos a bit by adding some super cute heart shaped confetti which I am loving, in keeping with the theme!
I wrote a blog post back a few months ago about my love for the Viktor and Rolf flowerbomb perfume. It’s my firm favourite and I have been through a fair few bottles it’s fair to say. This perfume has the most beautiful smell and is in the most classic bottle. It is a luxury high end perfume that I cannot help re purchasing or putting it on my Christmas/birthday list as I love it so much!
So you can imagine my excitement when I found out Viktor and Rolf had released an eau de toilette called flowerbomb bloom. I had been lusting after it for such a long time and finally got my hands on it at Christmas (thanks to my ever amazing boyfriend)… yay!
Flowerbomb Bloom comes in the most beautiful bottle similar to the original but slimmer and taller, they look beautiful side by side. The smell is similar to the original but I would say has more of a fruity floral scent with a hint of vanilla. This would definitely make the most perfect summer perfume however I love it so much that I am going to be wearing it all year round!
I am definitely over the moon with this perfume and it stands side by side next to my original flowerbomb perfume on my dresser, so even when i’m not wearing it I can look at the beautiful bottles! I love how two perfumes can smell so similar yet so different at the same time, Viktor and Rolf have created two of the most amazing fragrances that I predict will continue to be popular in many years to come.
This perfume is perfect for me as it is pink and girly yet sophisticated and classy at the same time. The floral notes hit you first and then you can smell the deeper undertones. Whenever I wear this perfume or in fact the original, I always get compliments on how nice it smells! As I can never smell perfume on myself after I spray it, it’s nice to know that other people can smell just how lovely it is.
As this perfume is an eau de toilette rather than an eau de parfum, it is slightly cheaper than the original flowerbomb however I would say it is still slightly pricy at £57 for 50ml. I would say though, if you are in the market for a beautiful perfume that isn’t too overpowering or strong this is the one for you! I mean as it’s close to valentines this would also make the perfect gift for a loved one if you tend to spoil that someone special or you just want to treat them this year!
As you can probably tell I couldn’t recommend these perfumes more, they will always be two of my favourites and probably the perfumes I will reach for in years to come! Im also pretty sure Viktor and Rolf just released a flowerbomb candle, so that is definitely going on my wish list! p.s If you have any other questions about the fragrances, do pop them in the comments and I will get back to you as soon as possible!
