Bad Gal Bang!

I’ve got that Sunday night feeling. It’s the end of half term and back to reality tomorrow with early starts, long days and lots of work. I’m not really a fan of Monday, I know it’s a new week etc but I can’t lie it’s just always been the worst day of the week for me.

I thought to get over that Sunday night feeling I would write a new blog post. I’m the one who is always late to the party with new makeup releases and spend most of my time lusting after new products after seeing them on other bloggers blogs and social media. However this time I thought I would treat myself to a newly released product so not only could I be one of the first to try it but so I could also share it on my blog… plus the product looked so exciting!

Benefit Bad Gal Bang… now I know you have heard of it! I’m not going to lie when this was first released I was slightly sceptical as I thought it was just a mascara and wasn’t really sure what the fuss was all about. I love the They’re Real mascara from benefit and as my current mascara was about to run out I thought I would give the new one a go. I bought it from feel unique and when the mascara arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see how big the mascara tube was. The wand if also quite small with synthetic bristles which means the mascara doesn’t go clumpy when you apply it.

When I applied this mascara for the first time I wasn’t blown away I mean yes my lashes were volumised but I wouldn’t say they were much longer than when I used my normal Mac mascara. However when I wore this mascara the second time and applied it a little bit more carefully I noticed such a difference. My lashes looked thicker, longer and basically amazing! Also this mascara is weightless, I actually forgot I was wearing it.

This mascara lasted all day without budging, I mean I can’t say whether this mascara actually does last 36 hours because I personally don’t wear my mascara for that long. However I wore it for a solid 12 hours and it didn’t move at all and for someone who always ends up with black eyes I would say that’s a result!

I also love the packaging of this product, the mascara tube is so edgy and the black with pink adds an element of fun. Even the box looks fun, so much so that I don’t want to part with it yet… sad I know it’s only packaging, I just need to get rid of it!

I’ve only used this mascara a few times so I will update you when I have used it more but all in all I am impressed. This mascara is easily to use and leaves you with great results. If you have been curious about the Bad Gal Bang mascara I would definitely say give it a go, or even go and buy the mini if you don’t want to commit to the full size product just yet!
