Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetSo you may have noticed that I have been noticeably absent from my blog and social media in the last couple of weeks. It’s been my last two weeks at university and it’s been hella stressful, however… I am done! Three years of hard work done and dusted and I couldn’t be more excited. I now have a super long summer, where I am hopefully going to dedicate as much time as I can to my blog and getting amazing content up for you guys!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetI wanted to kick things off with a fragrance blog post. It was recently my best friends birthday and I really didn’t know what to get her, so I popped out with my mum and we spent some time sniffing all the different fragrances in the fragrance shop. I found this so fun because I have my favourite fragrances, but don’t often have the opportunity to smell other fragrances. I had the opportunity to smell lots of different fragrances, some I love and some I hated.

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetAfter smelling a fair few perfumes I decided to purchase the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream fragrance. As you know I love Marc Jacobs fragrances, as I did a blog post about another of their fragrances quite recently! This fragrance is the perfect floral summer smell. It’s floral with a hint of sweetness. The floral notes of this fragrance are:

– Top Notes: Blackberry, Grapefruit, Pear
– Heart Notes: Jasmine, Lychee, Blue Wisteria
– Base Notes: White Woods, Musks, Coconut Water

I was even able to bag myself a deal where I got the 50ml fragrance in a gift set that also included a 75ml shower gel and a 75ml body lotion, for the same price as the fragrance would have been on it’s own, at £45 when it should have been £57! Plus I even got student discount off of it!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetI thought this was the perfect gift as it came in the most stunning box adorned with beautiful purple flowers and was beautifully presented inside. Now lets, talk about the fragrance bottle… Marc Jacobs are known for creating elaborate fragrance bottles and this one did not disappoint! The bottle is blue (well the fragrance might be blue) with white flowers all over the top half and then the cap has a gold band and then gold centres to the flowers! It’s simply stunning and would look beautiful sat on a shelf or on your make up table!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetThe funniest thing is I picked this fragrance for my friend, not knowing she already had it but had nearly run out of it! If that isn’t a sign of a great friendship then I don’t know what is! Anyway, I hope this has given you a little bit of fragrance inspiration!
