Mini American Beauty Haul

Holla, I’m back with a new blog post. My best friend recently went to spend her summer in America (yes I wish I was her!) and she very kindly brought me back some lovely beauty products from across the pond, from shops like Sephora and Bath & Body Works, both of which we don’t have here in the UK.

She brought me back some really lovely beauty products which I have thoroughly enjoyed using over the last few months. The first product was a sheet mask from Bath & Body Works which I was really excited to try. One because I have never tried anything from Bath & Body Works and two because I have never tried a sheet mask. I must say when I first opened the sheet mask I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was a bit flimsy and very slimy, however it was amazing and I am now a total convert!

First things first, the way a sheet mask makes you look, makes the whole thing totally worth it. It is the most hilarious thing you have ever seen, I looked like I was wearing the silliest halloween mask! The mask did though stay stuck to my face and hardly moved around and I left it on for around 10 minutes. It felt super hydrating and like it was actually helping my skin. Also when I took it off the packet said to rub in the excess product into the skin for extra nourishment and hydration. After using this mask my skin felt so good, it looked glowy and hydrated and plump!

Continuing with the hydrating theme, the next products my friend bought me were two EOS lip balms. Eos lip balms have been my favourite lip balms for about three years and I can reliably say they last forever and smell amazing! My favourite smell is the passionfruit Eos and she also bought me the Honey Milk EOS that I have never tried before. The lip balms are such a cool shape and are so cute and practical. I know you can get them in England but I mean have you seen the price? They are so much cheaper in the US, which only means you can buy more right?!

Finally the last product she bought me was Sephora Blotting Papers. So i’m going to be honest and say that I wasn’t actually sure what blotting papers were and I’m not totally sure now that I’m using them correctly but there we go! Anyway, they were rose smelling blotting papers and I have been using them for blotting my lipstick. The papers are super thin and easy to use and there are plenty of papers in the packet. They easily blot your lipstick without getting product anywhere and they smell amazing. I honestly don’t know how I have gone so long doing my makeup without these and I already want to plan my next trip to the US to get more of these!

So there we have it my mini US beauty haul! I love all of the products I mentioned and I would love to hear some fo your favourite US products!

As always I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Also if you haven’t already, check out my social media as I use it to update you all on new blog posts!
