So I’ve not written a blog post for a while and that’s because I’ve been having a creative mind blank! I just wasn’t sure where I wanted my blog to go or the type of content I wanted to be creating. I felt like I’ve been creating the same flat lays for every blog post and not really been mixing things up. For that reason, I’ve decided to mix things up a bit and post a bit more fashion/travel content where I can!
So with no further ado… I am going to share my latest holiday with you. I was lucky enough to get to visit Los Cabos in Mexico which is on the Pacific Ocean side. I love Mexico and was super excited to be visiting a different place within the country having previously visited Riviera Maya. As this was a family holiday we did more relaxing than exploring, so I thought I would share some photos (big up my boyfriend for being my right hand man and photographer!) and info about the amazing resort we stayed in!
We stayed in Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort and Spa. The resort itself is a fairly small one and is beautifully decorated with a large infinity pool with a big slide (this is the children’s pool) and a smaller tranquility pool for over 18’s.
The beach at the resort is beautiful with sands that stretch across the front of the resort. Walking down the beach was super relaxing as there was hardly anyone else in sight and you could literally walk for miles. One thing to note though is that you are not allowed to swim in the sea. The sea is really rough with a strong riptide, so it’s not safe to swim. It is however, amazing to watch the huge waves crash against the shore!
The rooms at the resort are lovely, we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a honeymoon sweet, which had a bedroom with a huge bed, a lounge/dining room and a big bathroom with twin sinks! We also had two balconies on the ground floor which was amazing as it meant we could sit and watch the world go by in the beautiful warmth of Mexico!
Although we didn’t do much exploring, we did go on a day trip to The Arch of Los Cabos. It was a fun day where we got to go on a bottomless boat trip to The Arch, where we got to see sea lions, fish and the exact place where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. This was definitely my favourite part of the day, even if I did feel a little sea sick! The next part of the tour we were taken to some local shops. This part wasn’t so good because we were taken to some very touristy places that were obviously working with the tour company for commission. So I would say if you’re heading out in Los Cabos to get a taxi into town yourself and do some exploring!
Los Cabos is a beautiful place which is pretty much always hot as they hardly have any rain. It’s full of palm trees, quirky shops and lovely people. I absolutely loved my time there and would 100% recommend it as a holiday destination if you can manage the travelling (which is quite intense!).
I don’t want to waffle on too much so I am going to leave it there. Let me know in the comments if you have any other questions! As always I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Also if you haven’t already, check out my social media as I am using it to update you all on new blog posts!
