You may have noticed I’ve been a little behind over here on the blog. Basically I transferred my blog to a new host and lost the last four blog posts I had written. So here I am, writing them again wishing that I bothered to back up my blog! (Don’t worry, I’m backing it up now!). Alas, here is my post ‘gold accessories that will transform your autumnal outfits’.
I am in my element at the moment as I love autumn/winter styling a lot more than summer styling. However, I do find if I’m not carefully I get into a cycle of just wearing the same jeans and jumper because it’s easy and cosy.
However, recently I have been trying to jazz up my outfits and have been steered towards wearing a lot of gold. I don’t know what it is about gold jewellery but every time I look online or walk into a shop I am instantly drawn towards all the gold!
One of the main items of gold jewellery that I have been wearing are earrings. I really find that they add a focal point to an outfit and make an outfit slightly more dressy. Even though some people might say that big earrings are very Pat Butcheresque, I absolutely love the look it creates! I especially love that gold accessories match perfectly with the autumn browns, oranges and reds.
I have also loved buying bags etc that have gold hardware on them. I find it really pulls an outfit together when your jewellery matches the hardware on your accessories.
My favourite places to look for gold accessories has to be Asos, Topshop and Accessorize. They have some beautiful pieces at the moment and I always seem to end up buying something every time I look!
As you can tell, I am loving gold accessories and am looking forward to styling them up even more over the autumnal months. I’d love to know if there is anywhere else I should be looking for the perfect gold accessories!
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. Also if you haven’t already, check out my social media as I use it to update you all on new blog posts!
